“Constructive criticism is welcome” is a cliche you often find at the end of an article or a book by a writer. I have quite often toyed with the phrase “constructive criticism”. What does it mean? Whatever may be the merit of the phrase, I look only at the last of the two words forming the phrase – criticism. You don’t ‘construct’anything when you criticize the work of some one else. You only find fault with the achievement of some one.
