The echo of the French Revolution of 1789 was heard in England . The violence that followed the revolution and also the fate of the nobles shocked the British society. Until then, the British labour was neither organized nor had a voice of their own. Not only the labour rights, gender equality was also never considered by the establishment. But the echo of the French Revolution made the social scientists to devote their attention to wards the necessary social reforms in these directions.
