This story is from the famous epic of India, “The Mahabharatha”
The eldest of the Pandava brothers Yudhistra lost his kingdom and also his brothers to the Kauravas in the betting game of dice. Then, he staked his wife Draupadi and played the game again. Once again, he lost. The eldest of the Kauravas, Duriyodhana ordered his brother Dushasana to bring Draupadi to the court. As she vehemently objected to go along with him, he dragged her to the court by pulling her tresses. On the orders of Duryodhana, Dushasana attempted to disrobe her. Seeing this, Bhima, one of the Pandava brothers vowed to kill him using his bludgeon. In the war that took place fifteen years later, Bhima fulfilled his vow by bludgeoning Dushasana to death.
